My Story
Howdy Y'all! My name is Brenda Prather. I am so excited to be a part of the Scentsy family. I live in Slaton, Texas and have a wonderful husband who is the love of my life. I have 2 beautiful daughters ages 21 and 17 and a gorgeous 24 year old step daughter who is the mom of our beautiful granddaughter!! I also have a handsome 2 year old son that is the absolute light of my life and a huge blessing to our family!!!
This year, I will be 47 years old and 2017 is the year that I am finally doing things for me!! I have been an educator for 20 years and have worked as a teacher, principal, school improvement specialist and am certified to be a school superintendent. Though I love educating children and helping adults continue to be life-long learners and though I will always work in education in some capacity, my dream has always been to own my own business!
So, this year, with the support of my wonderful husband, Russell, my dear friend, Janna, and my sister, Laura, I opened a small women's boutique. It has been fun and exhausting, but still something was missing.... That's when Scentsy caught my eye and with the help of my sweet step-daughter, Caitlyn, I have added Scentsy to my business endeavors. I love making people happy and helping them find those little pleasures in life that make life worth living and Scentsy is one of those little pleasures!!!
My dream is to be a role model for my children and show them that you can do whatever you put your mind to AND you can be successful and happy at the same time. I am thankful that I am getting to do that!!
